I miss talking to you. I think it's a universal trick. We justify things we shouldn't because we are never didqualified. But you wanted to listen. Maybe you have a savior complex, or maybe you just wanted to keep me safe. All I know is you did. You listened more than anyone ever has.
You were probably a real asshole in person. I would put money on it.
I hope so.

Jade, you are loved. You Are. I have never stopped loving you. I have watched your progress and, yes, you are making progress. You learn and grow with every day and every experience through which you endure. You have lived through so much. It doesn't seem fair. But you are not like the others, Flora. You come from a world of constellations; you see the meaning in everything. You are beautiful, interstellar, radiant. You are loved, Jade. And though it has been over a year since we've spoken, know that I have never given up on you. I've loved you through it all. And I do care so very much.
